Private Lesson Weather Cancellation Policy

Cancellations prior to the start of the lesson:

• If a storm is moving into the area prior to the start of the lesson, I will evaluate the weather and decide whether to cancel. If the lesson is canceled, I will email you directly as soon as I have made the decision.
• If you wish to reschedule the lesson prior to the scheduled start time due to incoming weather, you can do so by following the instructions here.

Cancellations after a lesson has begun:

• If there is lightning within 12 miles of the pool while the lesson is taking place, we will get out of the pool and the remainder of the lesson will be canceled. 
• If the lesson is cut short before 20 minutes have passed, you will receive an account credit for half of the lesson rate. If a lesson is canceled after the 20-minute mark, no credit will be given.
